One Month at a Time is a Visual Novel that follows a university student who is currently impacted by the housing crisis. Currently, the project is in an alpha state.

Design
Our team was given the challenge of making a game about a real-world issue that is impacting everyone. One Month at a Time follows the journey of Victoria as she tries to survive the housing crisis while also attending school. To make the game focus on our topic, we designed a resource management system that revolved around the money she earns throughout the game. In addition, I made sure to connect our project's theme to the main narrative beats of the story.
